I would like to know whether the player version 4.2 supports the following video ads scripts

OpenX Video Ad Script (you can see more detail at http://www.openx.org/docs/2.8/userguide/video+ads+player+configuration, I know this can be integrated to other players but I would prefer yours.)
- Inline Video ad
- Overlay Video ad

Doubleclick

Eyeblaster

and other Javascript or Iframe ads?

And does it support companion ad as well?

I would like to upgrade the current version into new version soon.

Such integration is huge and cannot be set into default player.
Anyway once Nuevoplayer 5 released (under development now) it will be possible to to build a plugin for openx and for few other systems, features as well.

Nuevoplayer 5 will be released soon (let's say by next month)?

So if it will be released soon, I may wait for it. Otherwise I will go with version 4.2.

For AnyAd, do you think I can insert JavaScript or IFrame Ads as shown below to the XML Config to get it displayed before the Video?

As it is described on plugin website you can use javascript,html,iframe, etc.
But of course we cannot guarantee how some outside ad server and their javascript/iframe works or performs.

We have hidden option on our AnyAd Plugin demo page, so we can test any code.

In case of your javascript examples:

1. ad from clipmass.com attempts to load but it takes ages to load. Of course this is case of their ad server connection and not our plugin or player. Just cannot connect ad server for long time.
I don't suggest to use ads with such horrible load time, whatever it is - a player or html.
Their ad finally was loaded and showed over player correctly, but loading time was not acceptable.

2. ad from synergy-e.com was not super fast, but loaded in acceptable time and displayed over player correctly.

We can always test your or other user ad and say or show how it works.

BTW.
Nuevoplayer 5 cannot be so fast released.
Even if it is writen in 95% there is a lot of other jobs to do (integrations, demos, clientarea rebuilt).

Akso Nuevoplayer 5 will not be very different at start. It will be almost same, with few small changes, but will be 100% rewritten code with new concepts, with even more advanced rtmp support.
It will be wide open for future dozens plugins.

As with each major version there will be small upgrade fee.
