Hello everybody,
I'm interested in using AnyAd plugin with my Nuevoplayer installation, but I receive an alert('This plugin is not available for "universal" or custom integration') when I'm trying to buy it on the plugins page.
I know that this plugin is prepared for certain scripts only and needs working with database in the backend, and I'm ready for proceeding with that by myself.
I tried just passing overlay / overlayURL / overlayStart variables to my player (as it works in AVS), but it didn't worked for me: http://fileplanet.com.ua/images/nue/index.html
This plugin is the main reason why I choosed Nuevoplayer. Can I just buy it for my installation?

This is not only database case.
For supported script we also deliver admin frontend where user can change some anyad plugin options and set ad code. It also gives oportunity to create multiple ads later displayed randomly.
FInally the most important part is adserver javascript that controls all options and generates ad based on database.
It would be pretty difficult to understand what for are some database setting fields without such admin frontend

And can I just make nuevoplayer to display AD image specified in overlayURL flashvar or XML config field before video playback? I'm sure that coding the rest is OK for me.

You cannot use overlay or preroll as some javascript or any other html code.
This is all flash generated and flash doesn't accept hml apart of some basic html styling for text.
Our AnyAd plugin is using player only to send & catch player events and player object id. All the rest (overlay ad) is done by javascript and html.

If your ad is only simple picture and some URL to go on click - it can be set as flash overlay (it pause player) or as preroll ad (before video start showing for declared time period).
