Could this be done:

I make a channel called "Ebay" ( for example )

All Videos uploaded in channel "Ebay" show an overlay defined for this channel.

could be done, but this is custom programming and mod to video script, so for example you could define ebay product details - picture and link for any possible video. Then more programming to player feeds so it could guess if ebay overlay is defined for certain video.

This is not connected to flash player - all just php/smarty programming. Player will play what is defined.
